Arielle Lederman
Arielle Lederman, J.D., LL.M., is a Senior Wealth Advisor and Wealth Strategist with AdvicePeriod. Her primary focus is working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals to advise those clients and their families with respect to income, gift and estate planning transactions. Arielle has over a decade of experience in the legal sector and has advised clients around the world and across industries on a variety of complex tax and estate planning transactions. Arielle has a deep technical understanding of trust and tax law but takes a practical approach to tax and estate planning that clients greatly appreciate.
Prior to joining Advice Period, Arielle practiced as a trusts and estates attorney at a 2020 AmLaw Top 100 firm in Manhattan before making the leap in-house to join a wealth management group’s client service team. While practicing law at large law firms, Arielle noticed that clients’ legal counsel and investment advisors were often siloed, leading to legal advice that was nearly always reactive rather than proactive and, therefore, less efficient for the client. Arielle believed that there would be immense value to her clients if they could work with an advisor who is intimately familiar with the client’s assets and who could also proactively identify and propose tax minimization strategies and then spearhead the implementation. In an effort to make that reality, Arielle joined the AdvicePeriod team in 2022, and thoroughly embraces the AdvicePeriod team’s ethos in providing clients with proactive, well-rounded advice at all life stages. She loves to get to know clients and become that trusted advisor, while ensuring that the clients are advised of tax planning opportunities as they arise.
Outside of work, Arielle loves to travel, read novels, and spend time with her husband, sons and labradoodle.
